This course presents a panoramic view on contemporary art of the Arab world and how it interacts with Western context and museums. Through which Biennales, art centers and international platforms was the global art scene shaped? By sharing a refined list of artists and topics, this course proposes a multicultural approach, to study contemporary art between East and West.
