Pauline Koetschet is a research fellow at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). Her research focuses on the intersections between medicine and philosophy, particularly during the formative period of Islamic philosophy, as well as the reception of Greek scientific texts in Arabic. She spent several years working in the Middle East, including in Syria, Egypt, and Lebanon. Most recently, together with Matyáš Havrda, she published Galen, On Demonstration: Reconstruction of a Lost Treatise from Greek and Arabic Sources (De Gruyter, 2025).
