With a PhD in Art History, Dr. Michaela Watrelot is an art historian, an educator and a published author. Previously, she earned a master’s degree at the University of Vienna and expanded her understanding of the contemporary art market while working at the international auction house Christie’s in Dubai and Vienna. Since 2023, she is the Curator and Director of Exhibitions at the Bassam Freiha Art Foundation in Abu Dhabi.
