Hélène Bouillon holds a doctorate in Egyptology and is a specialist in relations between Egypt and the Near East in antiquity. Chief curator and director of conservation, exhibitions and publications at the Louvre-Lens, she is also a member of the "Pharaonic Worlds" team at Sorbonne-Université and teaches at the École du Louvre.
