Hélène Boudin has extensive experience in the management and documentation of works of art. She worked at the Commission d'indemnisation des victimes des spoliations between 2001 and 2002, at the Musée du Quai Branly between 2002 and 2004, in the Department of Islamic Art between 2004 and 2005 and in the project management department between 2006 and 2014 at the Musée du Louvre, before taking up her post as deputy head of collections management at the Musée d'Archéologie Nationale in 2020.
