Corentin Dury


Art historian Corentin Dury, specializing in paintings, has been a curator at the Musée des Beaux-Arts Orléans since 2018. Prior to this, he served as the curator and deputy director at the National Museum of Port-Royal des Champs. Since 2019, he has curated numerous painting exhibitions and has been actively involved in teaching art. He has been responsible for the Master 2 Seminar at the École du Louvre since 2019 and at the University of Orléans since 2022. Dury's research focuses on 13th-century Italian paintings, earning him several prestigious fellowships, including the Carnot Fellowship in Florence in 2017, the Sienna Michel Laclotte Prize in 2021, and most recently, the renowned Focillon Fellowship at Yale University in 2024. As a PhD candidate, he is researching Sienese polyptychs post-Black Death (1348-1422).
