Benjamin Mutin


Benjamin Mutin is an archaeologist, historian, and a professor of Ancient Oriental archaeology at Sorbonne University. He specialises in the Near East, the Middle East and Central and South Asia. His field of study covers Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. His research focuses on material studies, landscape archaeology and the interactions and evolution between man and the desert environment from the Neolithic through the Chalcolithic to the Bronze Age.
